The bustling heart of Vulag Moguzot was alive with activity, as it always was. Referring to them as "streets" would be a mistake, for the city had evolved beyond the need for such pedestrian pathways. There were no demarcated lanes or roads; instead, the city thrived in a state of harmonious fluidity, vacant of any structured traffic routes. There were some exceptions here and there. Ground travel was a rarity in this metropolis. The skies above and the waters below were the preferred domains, with beings either soaring on the backs of majestic creatures or gliding through the depths in advanced technological vessels.

Yet, the truth was, most inhabitants of Vulag Moguzot rarely relied on traditional modes of transportation. The city's pulse was synchronized with the Gulzags, mystical portals scattered throughout, enabling instantaneous travel. One could step through a Gulzag and emerge at their desired destination within the city's bounds. This unique system allowed the city to flourish organically, with each corner and nook having its own distinct character. It was as if the city itself was a living organism, blossoming in a radiant display of vitality and prosperity.

The Gulzags were more than just doorways within the orcish metropolis. Some connected to distant cities, while others served as gateways to far-off planets, solar systems, and even galaxies. However, these long-distance portals demanded intricate calibration and were not as commonplace. Their use was a privilege, reserved for the affluent and those of significant stature. Only those who with the most Merit had the honor of stepping through these interstellar doorways.

Despite its advanced infrastructure, Vulag Moguzot, the crown jewel of planet Mokmog Tomog, was teeming with inhabitants. Unlike Earth, this city was a harmonious fusion of architectural marvels and pristine nature. Nestled in the heart of a vast, enchanting forest, it stood as a contender for one of the Universe's most magnificent cities. Contrary to the widely held beliefs about Orcs, those of Vulag Moguzot showcased a profound respect for their environment, living in symbiosis with it and even enhancing its beauty.

Xovnom, even after spending over a century on Mokmog Tomog, still grappled with the planet's intense heat. The planet's multiple suns, ranging from three to five based on its orbital position, made the temperatures soar. The icy realm of Jupiter was his home, so the sweltering heat of Mokmog Tomog was a stark contrast for him. However, the vast forest canopy, with its vibrant red and deep purple leaves, offered a respite, casting cooling shadows below. Yet, the current temperature still read a staggering 333°C.
