When thinking of the way life takes me
I can sometimes waltz through the bittersweet,
lullaby of the events at hand
I wonder why the meaning must be painful
and defeating at times
I rise up from the water of despair
And notice it's a shallow well, yet the
water fills my airy lungs
When thinking of the pot at the end of
the rainbow
I know I can achieve it with the help
of my peers
The ones who wave their strong, wise
hands, for they have gone through
the same predicaments I have
Life is a tale of trying and doing
And in the end, in the balance of
the final judgment
Nothing matters, nothing is a weight to
be analyzed
As for living humans, we are
Life is just a plethora of paths
that lead to our imminent end
