"Good morning mam" her assistant said as she stepped inside her cabin after two days
"Morning" she replied, making her way to her chair
"Give me the file of recent deals"
" Ma'am, are you okay now" nidhi asked her
Rumi give her a hard glare she hates when someone intreput her in between
" What did I asked you to do" she said in a low tone yet her voice give chills to nidhi
" To give the file of recent deals" nidhi stuttered,
" So, do what I asked you to do, don't make unnecessary small talks with me"
She yelled at her
Nodding her head in response nidhi walks out of the cabin hurriedly
She is in a meeting with the finance manager of the company, discussing the budget of the new venture
" I get your point mr Patel regarding the expenses,we are at a good financial state know, so it's better that for some months we only worked on the pending deals and ventures by this you can handle the budget accurately and the work load will be less on financial department"
Mr Patel is a man in his late forties, he is not only the finance manager but the head of finance department of Malhotra enterprises
" Done, then we are then focusing of pending expenses for some month so with this dues can be completed early"
He said standing up from his seat, giving her a small nod he walks out of the cabin .
" Good morning sir" she heard some interaction from outside
"Morning" a very deep voice response to it and then she heard footsteps coming towards her way
And with that her cabin door flung open revealing rajveer Malhotra and with a very nervous nidhi breathing heavily
" The devil is here" she breathed out raising an eyebrow at him
" Ma'am sir wants to talk to you" nidhi said keeping some files on her desk
" I can see" she replied in a cold tone, passing her father a forced smile
" How's my daughter doing" he said making his way to the couch present in her office
" I am fine dad" she replied, curling her hand in fist because of that stupid smirk which is plastered on his face
" Why are you here" once nidhi left her office she faced him
" Aree, checking on a clumsy daughter is a father's duty princess" he said in feign innocence
" I am not your daughter" she says in a same tone
" It's not good to doubt on your mother"
" Why are you here " she griitted her teeth, standing up from her chair, she knows he is testing her patience
" Like mother like daughter " he boredly replied her
" Well it's in the genes"
" I can understand, psycho mother and daughter"
" NOT.A.WORD.ABOUT.HER" She yelled at him
"How's the work going there" paying no heed to her he asked her seriously
" Already given a update to your assistant" she gritted her teeth in annoyance, sitting on her desk she picked a file laying in her desk
"Tell me know" he said angrily, hating her arrogance
" I am the CEO not your personal assistant, so don't order me" without looking from her file she replied calmly
" Well not for a long time" he smirked when he noticed her flincing because of his reply, his sentence is not a warning is a statement in itself
Her body get tensed yet she kept the straight face she has learned one thing in her life no matter how strong your opposition is don't show it on your face let them beleive you don't give a fuck about there silly warning,
She knows things are going to be changed very soon and her so called father has determined to do so, but she is ready to face it like always she will figured it out on her own.
The hurdles are gonna come and this storm will destroy everything which gonna come its way.
" You can leave mr Malhotra" she replied firmly keeping a straight face,
They both are on the construction site, discussing on the designs
Today they are finalizing the exterior of the hotel, sitting beside each other they both are surrounded by the other members trying to come to the end conclusion
"The design which is finalize is too common for some reason, we need to do changes soon" abhimanyu concluded looking towards rumi,
" I guess only some changes are required else it's fine" rumi replied not completely agreeing with him she is little irritated by abhimanyu today as like always today they are not able to come to an end conclusion
" This is a complete crap" keeping his answer short he pressed his nose bridge to ease the headache which is occurring from morning
" It will take a lot of time to make a new design sir" one of the team memeber replied
" Mr singhania, why not we do some changes rather then completely change the design, it's all perfect and unique like we want" rumi said, as she stand from her place and move to the projector to have a closer look of the design
" It will take some time but it will be perfect that's what we what at the end of the day right?" He moved past her brushing his shoulders from her and turned to face her completely
She tried to ignore that tingling sensation that produce just by his mere touch, she again replied calmly "But it will take lot of time"
He has that slight smile on his face seeing that small frowned in her face and her grumpy expression it's almost a give up face but yet she has to do argument to not not make her lose
"Well perfection come from patience Rumi and till the time design is not finalized we can look at the other things right" there is so softness in his voice it's like he is explaining to a fifth grader,
He is a highly observant man and like lot of things he knows the girl in front of him is hard to explain she will never give up unless she put her point forward
She can't understand why but today whenever she is listening to his voice there is a weird sensation which her body is producing it's all new and weird
" Fine with me then" she replied moving towards the centre table to pick her handbag and other accessories
" what happen to you know" Aryan said keeping a hand on his shoulder as he is looking at the direction from rumi left
" She didn't make eye contact for all day, she tried to avoid me" in complete daze he said, remembering that for all day rumi don't eye contact from him infact she tried to not look at him whenever he speak which is so not her
"Mmm, intresting" as a wide grin spread,over aryan's face, he pats his bestfriend back and move away from him whistling to some melody like"do Dil mil rahe hai, magar chupke chupke"
The two weeks are completed already most of the things are finalized, work is about to start soon in some days, but before that Malhotra's and singhania's want to do a bhumi Puja on the site and a announcement party to announce the collaboration of two most powerful business man's,
The events are schedule for next week
