Forbidden Love

Chapter 14

So yeah, the next day. I got detention. But it was fine, nothing I can't handle. Bored? Yeah, since I've finished every book in school. But I got an interesting data to look in my wrist. So why be bored?

Detention finally ended and I was picked up by Optimus. I got in and closed the door "Sorry" I chuckled. "Don't be. But you really didn't need to do that" He told me. "Well, detention is a very small price to pay. Rather than not having it and let my friends die" I replied as he starts to drive away. "That suit was very well made" He commented. "Well it's thanks to whoever inspired me to make it" I winked.

Well that was one week ago. The team has officially let me in to the missions. Since now I have a suit to protect me, and my Martial arts skills to use.

It was Saturday, so we were here all day. Miko is drawing. And Jack and Miko is playing a game. I was with the bots as usual. I like working better than playing. Which for some 18 year olds that isn't a thing they would do. Trust me. All the others are either dating or doing something. Not my thing. Like, totally... And anyway why would... YKW go out with me?

"I had hoped that my growing expertise on the subject would remain purely academic, but though faint, this is clearly a dark Energon signature, and it's moving fast" Ratchet called. "Megatron" Optimus and I said simultaniously, earning a few stares and smirks from the kids.

"Where'd find more of the bad stuff?" Arcee asked. "And what's he gonna do with it, recruit a new army of the undead?" Bulkhead asked as well. "Zombiecons?" Miko buts in. "We cannot rule out the possibility, especially since Megatron seems to be heading to a familiar site" Optimus replied. "Megatron has barely emerged from stasis, and it seems he's already making up for lost time. Xava, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Ratchet, prepare to roll out",

"Me?" Ratchet asked. "If we are dealing with dark Energon, I may well require your expertise. Arcee?" Optimus called. "Bridge operator. Got it" Arcee said and walked over to the bridge controls. She activated the bridge and we all walked in. Everyone transformed into their vehicle modes, and I hang on Optimus's side as he drove in.

When we reached the other side, I got off and they all transformed again. I seriously can't believe I've never seen this part of the cliffs. It was all red and rocky. We heard some shouting, but they didn't sound like Megatron's. "That's not Megatron" Bulkhead commented. Yeah, we know.

In front of us we saw some purple glows. Indicating, dark energon of course. We expected to see Megatron and another bot, but instead all we see is Starscream. "Starscream!" Optimus called rather loudly, and prepared his gun as he walked towards him. "Autobots!" Starscream said. "stand down" Optimus ordered. Never gonna happen Optimus... "You stand down! You cannot harm me while dark Energon flows through my veins!" Starscream said with pride as he shot a missile towards us. We quickly dodged behind the rocks.

Optimus came out and shot a blast towards starscream, which hit his shoulder joint and broke of his arm. Starscream looked struct and scared and quickly grabbed his arm an ran behind a rock. "You clipped his wing. He's grounded" Bulkhead said. Optimus ran towards starscream, and the rest of us followed. But he slowed down mid way there when we heard Starscream yelling.

"Ugh, I can't believe you made me lose my phone!" I heard Miko shout. I looked back to see Miko, Jack, and Raf on a rock... "Uh, h-how is this my fault?" Jack said to Miko. "Oh no..."

"Base to Optimus. The kids are missing" We heard Arcee call through Optimus's com. "We have a visual. Send the ground bridge immediately" Optimus replied. Just then two ground bridges opened up. One next to Starscream and one near us... "Two? You three, into our ground bridge!" Ratchet told them.

They all quickly ran into their groundbrige, but then it seemed like the two ground bridge's are connecting. "Ratchet, what is happening?" Optimus asked. "The dueling ground-bridge portals must be feeding back on each other" Ratchet replied.
