Aztec mythology is the body or collection of myths of the Aztec civilization of Central Mexico. It is a mythology that is not quite known, but it's interesting and broad.

Many find Aztec Mythology not familiar, but actually, most of you already have an idea about it.

In the animated movies Coco (2017) and The Book of Life (2014) from Disney, you can see the references and inspirations they used from Aztec Mythology. The land of the dead, the gods and goddesses mentioned, and even the spirit guides, all came from the Aztecs. It has similarities in the Mayan and Mesoamerican mythologies because they all have the same region.

You can easily search about the Aztec Mythology, about their gods and their cultures. Their places and beliefs. You can use them as references to know more about this novel. But fear not, even without background with the myth, this story will give you some background about them.

DISCLAIMER. This novel is inspired by Aztec Mythology only. Neither the characters, locations, nor lore, are 100% accurate from the myth.
