Kyoya was sat in the back seat of his black car, his two bodyguards in the front two seats. None of the three were excited or even remotely amused by this whole fiasco, but it wasn't something they could avoid.

His elbow was perched on his knee while his hand supported his head, a bored look on his face. An inaudible sigh left his lips, but quickly regained his composure.

His ears could faintly pick up the music from inside the huge house, he could see cars coming and go, people going in and out of the mansion. This looked absolutely boring.

The driver looked his side mirror, seeing two other cars park right behind them.

"They have arrived Master. We're all here"

"Then let's get this over with" The green haired male spoke and went to open his door but a flirtatious voice cut him.

"Please, allow me to open the door for you, Master Kyoya" The man in the passenger seat said and quickly exited the car, moving to open his door.

The male just smirked and got out in one swift motion. He was relieved to be outside of the box he had spent the last four hours in. His limps were in need of some stretching.

He turned his body towards the man, the height difference almost comical. Kyoya leaned his body in his direction, his lips almost touching the man's ear.

"Thank you, Chao xin" He spoke in a low voice, already knowing how the other would react. And soon enough, his face turned beat red, his eyes open wide. You would think after all this time he would have been used to it. Despite him being the flirt, he was getting flustered too easily.

Another door closing was heard and a man moved to stand next to them.

"Dashan, make sure everything runs smoothly tonight. And keep an eye on this one, make sure he doesn't overdo it"

"Of course master" The said male replied while bowing down, sending a sharp glance at his companion. Chills passed through Chao xin's body just by looking at him.

"Don't worry master. I'll be at my best behaviour"

"I know you will. I'm just teasing you" Kyoya muttered under his breath, smirking down at his two protectors.

The twinkle in his eyes faded and his teasing tone disappeared immediately though when he gazed the house before him. The house the he grew up in. It belonged to their grandparents, the same men that were hosting this huge ball in honor of their return home.

So many memories filled his mind, they played in front of his eyes like a movie. Each place and corner had a memory attached to it and wherever he turned his head to look, they popped out of nowhere.

The most distinct ones though, were the ones that she was involved. She was the sole reason they had come back. If it were for anyone else, they would consider them dead and not give a fuck about. But for her... They would do anything for her.

But no one had to know. It was their secret. If anyone else had learned about this, she would be in danger.

Kyoya wished she was safe. It had been almost seven years since they last had seen each other, hell it felt like an aeon.

Her. His first friend. His first love. His first kiss. His first night. His light in this miserable life.

And after all this time, he would finally be able to see her again. She would definitely be here, along with her family.
