Rajveer-Naina Horror Hours

Story 1 : THE HELL HOUSE

The fog refrains Naina from having a sight of the giant tree standing tall at a distance. Her thick dark green shawl enveloped all around her, covering not only her upper body but also her head and a major part of her face, protecting her from the harsh wind. Transfixed are Naina's eyes on the partially visible tree. The ferocious noise of the howling wind makes her to shiver more, than the temperature of it, as she stands at the threshold of the house, her back turned towards her inmates.

"Aap dono yahan zinda bhi kaise hain mujhe samjh nahi aa raha!",

exclaims Pooja, frustrated.

Rajveer, sitting on the couch placed to the right of Pooja, looks up towards her, which results in creasing of his forehead.

Pooja looks first up towards Naina to her left, then towards Rajveer to her right in a state of shock and in an expectation of a reply from both or any one of them.

"Ye... ye jagah...",

Pooja creases her brows tight, feeling suffocated, unable to put the negative vibes and aura of this bizarre place in words to explain them.

"Khaufnak hai!",

comes Naina's reply, slow, with no string of emotion attached to it.

The three of them look towards Naina, who still doesn't turn to look towards them.

Pooja looks around in dismay and shakes her head in negative in frustration,

"Main to yahan ek pal ke liye bhi nahi reh paati."

Ali nods his head in agreement and turns to look towards Rajveer,

"Sirji aap... aap chaliye humare saath. Humare ghar mein rahiye jab tak aap chahein.",

then looking towards Rajveer and Naina in quick succession, he continues,

"Jab tak aap dono ko kahin aur rehne ki jagah na mil jaaye."

Pooja nods her head in agreement. Her eyes twinkle with a hope of possibility of Rajveer and Naina's bright future away from this unsettling place.

Rajveer shakes his head and declines his offer,

"Nahi Ali! Hum yahin theek hain?"

That increases the magnitude of Pooja's anger, she shoots an angry glance towards Rajveer and asks him, raising her voice,

"Yahin theek hain?!"

"Yahan... jahan aap dono ko chorh kar insaano ka koi wajood hi nahi hai aur aap keh rahe hain ke aap yahin theek hain?",

shouts Pooja, in utter disbelief.

"Aap dono jaante hain yahan tak pohnchne mein Ali aur mujhe kitni dikkat hui?",

she shouts further.

Ali rests his hand on Pooja's shoulder, pacifying her,

"Pooja ji....",

he says, in a hushed voice.

Turning to look towards Ali, frustrated Pooja shows her disagreement with him, gesturing with her left hand,

"Nahi Ali! Bolne de mujhe."

She again turns towards Rajveer, knitting her brows tighter, she continues,
