"I'M GOING TO DO IT," THE BRUNETTE said to her friend, "and you can't stop me!"
"By all means go ahead." The friend waved her hand towards the stage where a group of other teenagers were waiting for further instructions from a teacher. She nodded and took a deep breath before bursting through the door and marching towards the center.
The friend followed Mason, after all, she wasn't going to interrupt the brunette's terrible attempt to get the attention of the boy she was fascinated with.
Though no one told Mason that she would have to be singing!
But really, she should have expected it, it's a musical she's auditioning for after all.
