At Kaiden's room, he was packing some of important things he had to bring with him to Idris, he knew he was staying for just two days but his weapons were needed everywhere even there
Ben knocked on the door twice before opening it making Kaiden turn around, he expected his wife but not brother in law "To what do I owe the pleasure, Ben?" He questioned with an annoyed tone
"Betty mentioned that you were going back to Idris" he crossed his arms around his torso staring at him blankly "For a trial"
"Well, do me a favor and keep it to yourself? No one need to know" Kaiden scoffed with an eye roll
"Give me some credit, Kai. I hate you for what you did to my sister but I know you're crazy about her and you'd give up everything for her" Ben stated closing the door behind him and Kai let out a breath "Maybe you don't deserve her but you're good to her and you're overdue for an ego check"
"Keep your eyes on her, will you?" Kaiden demanded clearly not wanting to leave "Until I come back"
"You really had to ask? That's my only sister and I'm not gonna lose her again"
"You haven't seen her angry, Ben... and she's angry right now, it's just a matter of time before she let it out... also please don't let her take off her bracelet under any circumstances, alright?" He said firmly with a serious expression "I love her, you don't ever have to doubt that. You can doubt me but never my love and loyalty to her"
"I know" Ben nodded with an honest smile "But I seriously need to figure out a way to keep your crazy obsessive ex away from my sister before my crazier sister kills her"
"Trust me, if anything Elizabeth is great at is standing up for herself. I will give Alice three days before returning to Idris"
Meanwhile at the training room, Lizzie was pacing back and forth anxiously waiting for a response from her sister or Simon but before she could call them again she heard Jocelyn's voice calling out for Clary
"Clary, stop!" She ordered sharply when Clary walked inside towards her sister who frowned
"What is wrong with you? We almost had him back!" Clary snapped furiously making Lizzie approach her with a confused look
