Unfortunate Mistake

I had no idea that this unfortunate mistake

Would cause so much heartbreak

I was foolish, I was young

It was stupid, it was dumb

Please understand, this unfortunate mistake

Helped me become a better person

You are my world, you are my star

You're the only one that really owns my heart

You wreck my brain

Without you I might go insane

Baby I love you so

So please don't ever go

I need you in my life

You make me feel alive

What happened in the past doesn't matter

As long as we're together

What can I do

To prove to you that I've changed

The person I was before

Isn't the person I am anymore
