Third persons pov:
Dear diary ,
It's Monday the 13th of January and we start back up school for this year, can I be honest with you diary? I'm not looking forward to this year, now that we are getting closer to high school, things are going to become more complicated and quite hard , but I know that I will have to work hard , harder than before to get through this year. I hope just maybe , father will lighten up on me but I can only wish right? Oh well I better get ready for the day , it's already 7:00 am. See you later diary , thank you for listening to my worries and feelings.

Kitchen
"Lisa dear are you ready? Your going to be late to school if you don't leave now" Topanga yelled from the kitchen as Lisa walked into the kitchen
"Please don't yell mom you've got a busy day today" Lisa said as she stood behind her mother making her let out a small yelp of surprise as she spun around to look at Lisa
"I really need you to stop sneaking up on my dear, oh good morning by the way" Topanga said as she placed a kiss on Lisa's forehead while holding her chest
"Apologies mom , I'll work on that. You have a big case this morning right? Shouldn't of you left by now?" Lisa asked softly as she looked at her mom as she moved around the kitchen to finish preparing breakfast
"The trail doesn't start till 9:30 dear so I have time to make sure you eat and have everything for school , I also have time to walk with you" Topanga said as she set down the last of the breakfast she prepare for the two of them
"I see Dad and Riley left already and no it's okay mom you don't need to walk me , I know how important today. So please let's just finish the breakfast made and be on our way, I'll be okay to walk alone , I'm used to it" Lisa said as she sat down at the table in the kitchen and grabbed a small amount of eggs on her plate
"You know sweetheart your father does love you , he just has a hard time showing it" Topanga said softly as she looked at her daughter
"It's okay mom , I've learnt over the past years that I can't do anything right to please him no matter what I do , I just need to get used to it" Lisa said as she pushed around her eggs as Topanga let out a sad sigh
