Liz pov:I was getting ready for school and I couldn't stop thinking about Kyle's situation I went to school and I went to my first class and we were learning a soft song and I thought about my dad
While we played it i then thought about my father and Kyle then I teared up abit since about my dads epilepsy my fathers anxiety attacks and kyles situation at home
Once we finished the song my teacher announced the solo for the song "I wonder who it's gonna be?"I whispered
"The solo for the song is gonna be given to Liz Shane!"the teacher pointed to me and everyone clapped "what the-"I was confused and the teacher gave me the same song paper with my solo part on it I felt happy
After class I took my violin with me to my next class I sat with Kyle but he was shaking so hard while wearing a black hoodie and baggy pants "Hey you okay? Your shaking..."I put my hand on his shoulder
"I can't...talk pls"his hair was in front of his eye I moved his hair to find he had a black eye "are you okay....!?"I whispered
He shook his head and cried in my shoulder "my step dad hit me..."he cried harder the teacher came up to us "boys do you need to step out?"he asked calmly
I nodded and took Kyle and we sat in the hall "my step dad abused me as soon as you left..."he rolled up his sleeves and showed me his bruises....
"No cry I'm here okay?,c'mon we need to talk to the counselor together..."I got up and try to help him up but he refused "no! Pls he will hit me again...!"I picked him up on my back "he won't I'll take care of this
"Okay...."once we got into the counselors office I held Kyle's hand as he told the counselor what had happened
"Okay kyle we have to get your parents involved in this.."the counselor said looking up the phone number "no please don't! They will abuse me more!!!"Kyle panicked
"Oh dear.."the counselor said "you can call my dads they know Kyle as well"the counselor nodded and called my dads and Kyle cried Into my chest
My dads came into the room and sat next to me and Kyle once they told them what had happened and they let us talk alone for abit "Kyle if you want we can take care of you...I know it's hard right now but we all want to help..."
My father said to Kyle hugging him "thank you so much I couldn't handle this anymore...."Kyle said holding my father
"Thanks for telling the counselor Liz..."my dad said to me kyle agreed about staying with us and they arrest his mom and stepdad
Once we took Kyle home with us he hugged me the whole car ride
"Welcome to the family Kyle..."my dads and I hugged Kyle I brought Kyle to my room to arrange his stuff we cuddled in bed as Kyle started fall asleep
