Katerina

On March 1492, Katerina Petrova met the man, she would later claim to be her worst nightmare.

Katerina would never consider herself as being naive, but the circumstances of her meeting and falling in love with both Mikaelson Brothers would prove otherwise.

Initially, she was enthralled with Elijah.

There was something about Elijah that made Katerina feel some sense of belonging.

It wasn't until she made the worst mistake of her life.

Katerina realized both brothers were anything but honorable.

They were instead monsters

One of them wanted her dead.

And the other wanted her sacrificed to appease his other.

Katerina ran as far away from The Mikaelson as she could.

Especially after she found out that she was pregnant with Klaus's child.

Katerina now had to survive not only for herself but also for her child.

Aristotle grew up on a small farm in Scotland.

His upbringing wasn't exactly the best.

To the outside world, the family that raised him seemed like, kind people.

But they were the furthest thing from.

They were cruel and demanded so much from the child

All this was overwhelming.

It wasn't until Aristotle began showing signs that something was different with him.

That's when he wanted the truth.

Continuously, he was denied this.

His family maintained the lie that everything was normal.

And that he was their son.

And he should do as he was told.

This, of course, enraged the boy even more.

It wasn't until his 17th birthday, Aristotle tried once more to get the truth from his parents.

They lied to his face again.

His father precisely.

"You must stop with this -

He never got to finish that line.

There and then, Aristotle ripped his father's beating heart from his chest.

Looking at him as he fell to the ground.

His mother attempted to run away but was yanked back with a flick of Aristotle's hand.

"You have both lied to me repeatedly," Aristotle said looking at his mother as she stood in the air

"In your final hour Mother," The boy said

"I give you a choice,"

"Tell me the truth,"

"Who are my parents?

The woman screamed in pain as her neck was clutched.

Eventually, she gave in and told the truth.

Aristotle was left on their door with a note

┌───────────────────┐

Tell him that I couldn't keep him.

Keeping him would be a danger not only to myself but to him as well.

Even though our time was short.

I will always love him.

- Love Katerina Petrova

└───────────────────┘

Aristotle killed his mother on the spot and set the house on fire.

Leaving Scotland behind.
