" hi for a'yonni ?" the uber driver asked me as he read my name
" yes " i said as i opened up the backseat door to get in
" okay " he said as he waited for me to get situated
the uber driver to make conversation with me but i wasn't in the mood to have a conversation , i needed to make sure my best friend was okay.
once he sensed i wasnt in the mood he turned the radio up and continued on the drive.
i stared out the window the whole time trying not to think about the worse
" alright we're here " the uber driver said after a while causing me to snap outta my thoughts
" oh , thank you " i said as i got out the car
i seen the rental car outside so i knew dezzy and mari were already here
i walked over to the front door seeing a light inside
i texted dezzy to ask if he was inside the house

i took a deep breath before i walked inside the house seeing it was hella dark inside
" dezzy ?" i called out getting nothing but an echo back
" can y'all stop playing ?" i asked pulling my phone out to turn on my flash light
just then the lights came on and nae came out of nowhere
" oh my god , are okay " i said going over to hug her
" girl follow me " she said whispering in my ear
i didn't say anything as she grabbed my hand and led me up the stairs
we walked into a dark room as she flicked the lights on and hella people jumped out
i seen that there were decorations everywhere and i immediately got confused
