"Jaldi aye aleena api dada jaan sabko bula rahe hain"yelled out a frantic noor who was given the duty to call everyone out of there cubicles because dada jaan wanted to talk to them

By the looks if it her Aleena api wasn't in the position to move out of her room anytime soon

"Noor meri jaan mein 2 minute mein ayi ap mera intezaar nahi karo,I have a bit of work to do"Aleena cooed to her little cousin in the softest tone after all it was the "baby of the house" as everyone called her

She did as she was told and left the room to go sit where everyone else was not before informing them the same words Aleena had told her

Everyone had now gathered up in the vast sitting room of the haveli patiently waiting for their سربراہ to announce the reason everyone was substantially called out here

"Aleena aur shahbaaz ka nikkah agle hafte hai aur ap sab jante hain meri zindagi ka bharosa nahi hai" Nawaab Malik Mazari had finally expressed

Although it was an undeniable situation each member of the mazari khandaan had a pain to there heart hearing these words because they knew the blood cancer in his body had wide spread and wasnt curable anymore and the head of there family would have to leave them in a short time

"Yeh sach hai aur ek mahine se zyada waqt nahi hai mere paas aur mene is liya socha hai ke hum rifaqat se baat karke shahbaaz aur Aleena ke sat ek aur nikaah rakhenge" Nawab Malik spoke as he held his sons hand while everyones emotional faces etched into confused ones

"Kiska" Aleena finally spoke up

"Hifzaan aur Noor ka" He said as he looked at his grand children that sat on either sides of room as there heads irised in a swift motion hearing there names

"Par abba jaan meri Noor filhal sirf 16 saal ki hai mein kese uska nikaah kar sakta ho" Ghufran spoke again not believing what his father had just said

"Meri marhoom biwi aur apki Ammi gulshara begum ki khwahish thi yeh jab unho ne pehli baar noor ko uthaya tha" Malik spoke with tears pricking his eyes as he thought of his deceased wife whom he couldnt see for the last time as she had passed away 12 years ago in her sleep while he had gone out of the city regret haunting him till this day

"Mein bas inka nikaah dhekna chahta ho,jab noor ki parhai aur hifzaan ki internship khatam ho jayegi tab ap mere marne ke bad inki rukshati jab chaho kar lo" Malik mazari was a man of few words but when it came to family his emotions would re surface but he would only be peaceful that he was reuniting his beloved wife after fulfilling a wish she had expressed to him

Hifzaan had left as soon as he heard his name next to noor

He had only thought of noor as his little cousin and she was barely part if his life because he was too busy with his studies and she was 4 years younger than him too so he didn't quite notice her

"Mein janti to noorie par hifz ek acha larka hai aur abhi sirf nikaah hi karenge ap dono ek dusre ko achi tarah se jaan sakte ho tab tak" Arfaana tried reasoning her daughter knowing it was a shock to her and she was too stubborn to listen

"Kon karta hai nikaah 16 saal mein mama yeh purana zamana nahi hai" Noor had felt betrayed when her mother sided with her grandfather instead of her knowing full well that she was only 16 not ready for a whole husband and not just anyone but her own cousin hifzaan who she barely knew despite being in the same house?

It didnt sit well with her and she simply walked out of her room so she could go talk to her baba

Tears filled her eyes when her baba had said the same words she didnt wanna hear

"I wouldnt trust anyone more than i would hifzaan with my daughter" Ghufran started only to his daugters horror

" I always wanted you to be in good hands in the near future and so hifzaan was a good choice and now if abba jaan wants you two married next week i dont think ill be able to refuse" He ended that argument not wanting anymore points against this

The same conversation had taken place on the other side of the haweli while ibaad and rimsha tried explaining their son who was adamant on rejecting

Hifzaan entered his room completely forgetting he had gotten married not even 10 minutes ago and was star-stuck seeing Noor sitting on his bed

He wouldn't deny the fact that she was absolutely gorgeous with the most beautiful pair of hazel eyes and a bright complexion and rosy cheeks that complimented her hazel eyes perfectly but today those eyes were filled with tears

Seeing her tears did something to him but he quickly put up an unreadable face because couldn't let his guard down

"Mere bed par hi aa kar apna lehnga phela kar rona dhona shuru karna hai tumne" he asked sternly,startling the already crying noor further

"Mujhe bhi koi shauk nahi hai apke shandaar kamre mein zabardasti bhetne ka pata nahi kis janwar se mera nikaah karwa diya dada jaan ne" Noor babbled as her tears fell uncontrollably while she glared daggers at the man she now had to call her husband

She was already in a horrible dilemma crying on her fate and all this happening so fast wasn't really helping her mental state

She tried getting up not wanting a minute more in this rude arrogant excuse of a man's room

She hadn't fully put her step on the ground when her foot slipped making her fallright on Hifzaan who wasn't prepared either and ended up on the floor with noor right above him

A flushed noor got up slowly struggling as she breathed heavily with the close proximity as she jogged out if his room

Hifzaan too started thinking today's crazy happenings while still sitting on the cold bedroom floor

Noor ran out if his room almost as if she wasnt just running away from him but also running away from the feelings that were threatening to creep up on her a little too early

How had her life turned so fast when just a few weeks ago she was celebrating her graduation out of high school and her acceptance into her favorite college and today she was witnessing the whole house celebrating her nikaah, wasn't it supposed to be Aleena api's day?
