zay has fully waken up meaning we can go see him "omg zay" i say walking in and going over to the hospital bed "hi v hru" he says smiling at me "no not about me hru?" i say putting my hands on his

ddot,notti, dd and anthony come in piling up on zay making me move back i lay my head on chloe's shoulder as the boys talk

"i can come home tomorrow" zay says to us "but for vanessa's safety have her stay over with you guys it would make me feel better" zay says directly to dd & notti

TIME SKIP

its now around 10pm and zays been telling us for the past hours to go home and get some sleep i just wanna stay by his side

anthony and dd are asleep on the couch in the hospital room while chloe went back home as well did notti "why'd u block the bullet from me" i speak up to zay

"because your my little sister and i promised mom i'd always care for you even if she didn't pass away it's still my job to protect you since that's something dad couldn't do" he answers back to me i nod understanding

"i'm sorry to interrupt but visiting hours are over at 10:30" a nurse speaks coming into the room i get up shaking dd and anthony

"ik ur asses arent still asleep" i mug at the sleeping boys "hey yk i need my beauty sleep" dd says in a cocky tone pointing to his face

i roll my eyes in response hugging zay goodbye as the boys dab him up pulling him into a hug "love you zay" i say "love you ness" he answers back as we leave both smiles on our faces

we head back to notti and dds house "i don't think i'll ever be able to step foot in my house again" i say staring out the window "i feel what you mean ma" dd says laying a hand on my thigh

i don't even know if the cops got the blood cleaned up "do we need to stop and get clothes" anthony asks "nah i got you zay is right we shouldnt go near that house rn" dd answers in response

we pull up to the osama home walking in the front door i see melz, jayklickin & ms reyes "vanessa sweetheart are you ok" ms reyes says running to me pulling me into a hug

"i'm ok so is zay we're alright" i say as ms reyes let's out a breath "is there anything we can do for you" melz says putting a hand on my shoulder

i shake my head no "all i wanna do is sleep rn" i say they understand letting me and dd go sleep
while anthony stayed with jay downstairs

"are you sure your ok v" dd says pulling me into a hug once we're in his room i nod burying my face in his chest i get everyone's just tryna check on me but i'd rather not talk about how i feel rn

i grab a shirt and pair of sweats from dds closets as i crawl in bed.
