Nate Adams is an average boy who wields the Yo Kai watch. He also has a ton of yo Kai friends and has a medal for each yo kai so he can summon them at any time with his watch. His main 2 friends are Jibanyan and Whisper.
Not only does he have yo-kai friends, but he also has human friends! They include: Katie (Nate has a crush on her), Eddie, Bear and Hailey. (He has more friends like Buck, but I'm not going to include them in this)
Nate encounters a lot of yo-kai per day, and he has to deal with their trouble and mischief that they cause. Will he be able to make some new friends?
