you had flee'd into the night. down the hike trail you went and into the empty parking lot you find a payphone and call 911 they arrive and arrest you and bring you to the station. they interrogate you about what happened and why you are covered in blood. you tell them everything from the room you woke up in to the stabbing you even show the evidence you collected (if you even collected evidence) they go to the place and see the body already rotting and stuff eventually a trial is opened up and you are found not guilty. you go home scot free and with the ultimate closure.
