The Philippine Army and their allies was deployed to the Special Region. There Alejandro, Company commander of 3rd Recon Company, met the elf Tuka, Rory the Reaper, and the mage Lelei. After the Saderan empire suffered a massive humiliating defeat, it's third princess, Piña Co Lada, decided to go to the Philippines and Negotiate. In her diary, she wrote that when she crossed the gate marked the borders between worlds, she saw buildings which touched the sky.
The small convoy of vehicles halt just outside the gate and all of them step out
"Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to Manila, Philippines." Alejandro said
"Are those... Walls?" Bozes asked
"Look, there are people inside!" Hamilton said
"They're making use of limited space" Lelei acknowledged
"Captain Gonzales, what are those tall buildings called?" Piña asked
"They're called skyscrapers. And before you ask why we built them, yes. Philippines is a smaller country compared to Itami's country aka Japan and Frost's country aka the United States of America." Alejandro said
"The empire is at war against civilizations capable of building towers sky high" Piña said
"Yep. I'll quote something from a famed japanese admiral. 'You have awoken the sleeping giants and filled them with a terrible resolve'" Alejandro smirked
Bozes and Hamilton shiver at that fact
Meanwhile at the reception area
"It's really hot..." Tuka said
"See, i told you." Honeylyn said
"You okay? Want some water?" Alejandro asked
"Yes please." Tuka smiled
Alejandro grabs two water bottles and gives them to Honeylyn and Tuka
"Thanks Sir." Honeylyn smiled
"Thank you very much!" Tuka thanked
"My pleasure." Alejandro smiled
"Kapitan Gonzales." A hooded figure called out
(Translation: Captain Gonzales.)
Alejandro looks back
"Espesyal na Ahente Denver Castelo? Ikaw ba yan?! Hindi pa kita nakita simula noong na-reassign ka, kamusta ka na?"
Alejandro smiled
(Translation: Special Agent Denver Castelo? Is that you?! Haven't seen you since you got reassigned, how are you doing?)
"Maayos ang takbo, ikaw?" Denver asked
(Translation: Things are going fine, how about you?
"Magiging maganda ang mga bagay, kumusta ka? Naglilingkod pa rin sa ilalim ng NICA?" Alejandro asked
"Oo" Denver replied
(Translation: Yes.)
"Kaya, ano ang nagdala saiyo dito?" Alejandro asked
