Felix and I concluded the paperwork, the weight of the tasks gradually lifting from my desk. As I made my way toward the office door, Felix's suspicious tone caught my attention.

"Enjoy your lunch," he stated, his words tinged with a hint of uncertainty.
I couldn't help but wonder what thoughts were swirling in his mind. With a quick nod, I swiftly departed from the office, eager to escape the confines of the Ministry.

Navigating through the bustling halls, I weaved through the crowd, my pace quickening. I couldn't get out of the building fast enough. The familiar face of Poppy greeted me by the fountain near the entrance of the Ministry. Her presence offered a welcomed respite from the workday monotony.
"So, where shall we go?" I asked Poppy curiously, ready to immerse myself in a moment of much-needed relaxation.
A radiant smile illuminated Poppy's face as she gestured for me to follow. Together, we strolled through the vibrant streets of London, embracing the city's lively atmosphere. Our path led us to a charming local shop.

"This place has quickly become one of my favorites!" Poppy exclaimed joyfully.
We settled into intricately designed white metal chairs, the air filled with the aroma of freshly prepared delights. I ordered a classic BLT sandwich, while Poppy chose a refreshing cucumber sandwich. As we savored our delectable meals, our conversation drifted through various topics, catching up on each other's lives. Curiosity glimmered in Poppy's eyes as she leaned in, her voice filled with genuine interest.

"So, what's it like working with Felix?" Poppy inquired, her curiosity veiled in intrigue.

With a morsel of food still lingering in my mouth, I carefully contemplated my response.
"It's... interesting," I began, aware of the intricate dynamics that defined our interactions.
"Felix's admiration for me has crossed certain boundaries, creating tension in my relationship with Sebastian."

Poppy's eyes remained fixed on me, her concern evident in her gaze. Sensing her genuine interest, I continued to share the complexities of the situation, "He's quite flirtatious, always testing the boundaries I've established. It's as if he believes he stands above it all, even above Sebastian."

A furrow appeared on Poppy's brow, her worry surfacing, "Merlin! If his behavior makes you uncomfortable, couldn't you report him?" she suggested, seeking a solution to alleviate my distress.
I nodded, acknowledging the option I had considered. "Yes, I've already threatened to do so. However, Felix seems confident that I won't follow through with it."
"Why not?" Poppy pressed further, her concern deepening.

A flicker of irritation passed through me as I explained, "He claims that I 'love it'- that I revel in the attention he gives me." Poppy's smile grew mischievous, a hint of suspicion present in her expression.
"Do you?" she questioned, her voice laced with curiosity. I met her gaze, momentarily perplexed by the complexity of her inquiry.

"Do I what?" I responded, seeking clarification.

A laugh escaped from Poppy's lips as she teased me, "Do you love it?"

The question hung in the air, demanding self-reflection. I wrestled with conflicting emotions-the undeniable attraction I felt for Felix, combined against the loyalty and commitment I held for Sebastian.

"It's complicated," I confessed, my voice tinged with a mix of uncertainty and self-reflection. "There is an undeniable allure to Felix's magnetic charm, but I can't ignore the fact that indulging in it would betray Sebastian."

Poppy's gaze softened, her understanding evident, "Love and desire can be tangled webs," she imparted, her voice gentle and wise, "It's crucial to navigate them with honesty and compassion for yourself and those involved."
Her words resonated deeply within me, reminding me of the need to confront my own emotions and make choices that aligned with my values and integrity.
"Poppy Sweeting, since when have you become so wise with relationship advice?" I joked in a friendly way.
She shrugged her shoulders with a playful smile.
