Cortez was living the simple live, enjoying the world from day to day as he traveled around the globe to find the answers he had always been looking for.
Struggling with his sexuality and trying to come to terms that he most likely would never be in a relationship beyond friendship and the love for his faithful dogs, his feet ended up carrying him through a quaint little town in the middle of nowhere.
As Cortez is his usual helpful self and gives some aid to the local ranchers, he finds himself invited to come work on a ranch. And not just any ranch; The Robinson Spread, one of the biggest ranches with a tightly knit community of ranchhands and their four bosses.
Every rancher wanted to work for the Robinsons but nobody actually managed to get his way in. Cortez doesn't understand what made him stand out but he isn't afraid to grab the bull by the horns when he's given such an opportunity.
Working for the Robinsons was going to be interesting for sure.
