Shinju's graduation marked a turning point in her life as she embarked on a new chapter as a samurai. With her friends Emi, Akiko, and Akio by her side, she was determined to protect and serve with honor. They were assigned to guard a sacred temple nestled deep within the mountains, where ancient artifacts of great power were safeguarded.

Months had passed since the graduation, and Shinju's pregnancy had progressed to the point where her belly had become a monumental presence. Each day brought new challenges as the weight of her unborn child strained her body. Even the simplest movements had become arduous tasks, requiring immense effort.

As Shinju stood at the entrance of the temple, her hands gently cradling her massive belly, a mixture of pride and exhaustion washed over her. The temple walls stood tall and formidable, but she felt a deep sense of responsibility to protect the sacred grounds within.

"Shinju, are you sure you're up for this?" Emi asked, concern etched across her face.

"I'll be fine," Shinju replied with a faint smile, her voice tinged with fatigue. "This child gives me strength, even in the face of adversity."

Akiko placed a reassuring hand on Shinju's shoulder. "We're here to support you, Shinju. Don't hesitate to ask for help."

Shinju nodded gratefully, knowing she could rely on her friends in times of need. They were her pillars of support, always ready to lend a hand or an encouraging word.

Days turned into weeks, and Shinju settled into her new routine, even as the weight of her pregnancy grew heavier. She embraced her role as a guardian, spending long hours patrolling the temple grounds, ensuring its sanctity remained undisturbed.

However, the peace was shattered when a Ninja and his gang made their unwelcome return. Their motives were unclear, but their presence threatened the tranquillity of the temple.

"You thought you could protect the temple? with your fat pregnant stomach, you can't stop an ant! much less me and my ninjas!" the Ninja sneered, his voice dripping with malice. "With that huge belly, you're nothing but weak."

Shinju felt a surge of anger rise within her, fuelled not only by her desire to protect the temple but also by the love she carried for her unborn child. She refused to let the Ninja's words break her spirit.

"You underestimate me, villain," Shinju replied, her voice steady despite the pain coursing through her body. "My dedication to this temple and the life within me will not waver."

The confrontation escalated as the horde of ninja advanced, ready to engage in battle. Shinju's friends stood beside her, their expressions fierce and determined. With unwavering unity, they prepared to defend the temple against the threat that loomed before them.

Despite the overwhelming odds, Shinju refused to yield. She fought with every ounce of strength she had left, her movements slower but no less precise. Each strike carried the weight of her determination, a testament to her unwavering resolve.

But the strain on her body became increasingly apparent. The weight of her enormous belly hampered her movements, causing her pain with each step. Every kick and punch took a toll on her weary form, yet she pushed forward, her determination undeterred. However, they were heavily overpowered, and Shinju in her current condition was soon defeated by nothing more than a weak strike to her side, and the others soon followed. The ninjas held them at sword point. Just as they were about to lose, Hiroshi, her former tormenter, rushed to their aid with his gang. The ninjas, fearing more reinforcements, soon retreated.

Shinju, her body trembling with exhaustion, sank to her knees. Her friends rushed to her side, concern etched on their faces.

Shinju managed a weak smile, her body trembling with a mixture of fatigue and relief. "We did it! I couldn't have done it without all of you, especially you, Hiroshi."

Hiroshi, overwhelmed by the transformation he had witnessed in Shinju and the strength she displayed, felt a deep sense of remorse for his past actions. He couldn't bear the weight of his regret any longer, knowing that he had inflicted pain upon someone he had secretly admired.

One day, as the sun cast its warm glow upon the temple grounds, Hiroshi approached Shinju with a mix of nervousness and determination. He took a deep breath, gathering the courage to apologize for his hurtful behaviour.

"Shinju," he began, his voice filled with sincerity, "I need to talk to you."

Shinju turned to face him, her eyes curious but guarded. "What is it, Hiroshi?"

Hiroshi's gaze shifted to the ground, unable to meet her eyes. "I... I want to apologize for the way I treated you in the past. The mocking, the hurtful words... I am truly sorry."

Shinju's expression softened, a glimmer of understanding in her eyes. "Why did you do those things, Hiroshi? What made you act that way?"

Hiroshi took a deep breath, his voice filled with vulnerability. "I was in love with you, Shinju. I couldn't bear to see you with Akio, and my jealousy consumed me. I thought that by mocking you, I could somehow suppress my feelings."

Shinju's eyes widened, a mix of surprise and empathy crossing her face. "I had no idea, Hiroshi. But that doesn't excuse your actions."

Hiroshi nodded, his voice filled with remorse. "You're right, it doesn't. I allowed my jealousy to cloud my judgment, and I hurt you in the process. I'm truly sorry for the pain I caused you."

Shinju's gaze softened, her heart open to the vulnerability in Hiroshi's confession. "Apology accepted, Hiroshi. But it will take time for me to trust you again."

Hiroshi nodded, a sense of determination settling within him. "I understand. I just wanted you to know that I see now how strong and remarkable you are. And if you and Akio have found happiness together, then I will respect that."

Shinju gave him a small smile, acknowledging his words. "Thank you, Hiroshi. Let's focus on building a better future, where we can support each other as allies rather than adversaries."

Emi knelt down beside her, her eyes shining with pride. "You've shown incredible strength, Shinju. Despite the challenges, you fought with unwavering determination."

Akiko, ever the optimist, added, "And look at you now, a warrior and a mother. You've proven that being pregnant doesn't make you weak. It only makes you stronger."

The rain continued to fall, its gentle touch offering a soothing respite to the weary warriors. They found solace in each other's presence, their bond growing even stronger in the face of adversity.

Days turned into weeks, and Shinju's pregnancy entered its final stages. She could feel the weight of her child pressing against her, a constant reminder of the new life that awaited her.

The temple became a place of solace for Shinju, a sanctuary where she could find peace amidst the chaos of her thoughts. She would often sit in the tranquil gardens, her hands resting on her swollen belly, as she contemplated the journey that lay ahead.
