Greed's POV
"Hmmm."
All the other foxes had fallen at my feet at the mere mention of ruling together. So easily swayed to forsaken their thirst for everything in this world by a pretty voice.
But not her.
Not even the full extent of my infatuation spell could snare her. Instead it did the opposite.
My tails wavered around me at the buzzing in my veins. I couldn't decide whether to be agitated or thrilled. It had been nigh on seven thousand years since something exciting had happened to me and the yawning pit of boredom was a physical weight on my shoulders.
Perhaps I'd have to wait and see if she returned. The Greed in me sang with bliss. Then that indeed would reveal to me just how greedy she really was.
