Soot is released by negative emotions but a shadows face shows when a shadow has a strong positive feeling like when s shadow is too happy or too excited, if it gets too strong their face will start to show so shadows try to avoid getting any emotions too negative or too positive as that can lead to them having to talk to their grandfather but for dolls it's Grandlord, if any dolls are caught saying grandfather they will be punished,
Next note! Dolls are ranked by how they answer or talk about things like in the debut, the lower you are the more your targetted to be eliminated from the debut, once you fail your shadow master will turn into ash and die, that's why dolls are afraid of failing the debut as they are also discarded if that happens, so it's best for dolls to learn the ways of how to be a proper doll and set good examples to other dolls to have a high chance to be a high rank,

Haii so basically I didn't make a vote for the name as I used the Google wheel and Naoroko won and I think it fits you better since your going to be kind and bright as Emilyko/ Emilico in the story so that's all I'll make part 2 as soon as I can ^^
