After a couple of hours Sam, along with most of the guests had left, leaving only Hill, Dr.Cho, and the rest of the Avengers.

They were sitting around, still drinking, and eating Chinese food that someone, still unknown who but Tony paid, had ordered.

"But it's a trick," Clint said, waving around a chopstick.

"No, no, it's much more than that," Thor said. He and Clint engaged in their own argument about his hammer.

"Ah, whosoever be he worthy shall haveth the power" Clint teased. "Whatever, man! It's a trick!"

"Please, be my guest" Thor laughed. All the other conversations in the room died down as they all looked at Clint.

"Come on" Tony encouraged.

"Really?" Clint asked and stood up when everyone gestured for him to try.

"Oh, this is gonna be beautiful," Rhodey said.

"Now Clint you've had a tough week. We won't hold it against you if you can't get it up" Tony said.

Clint grabbed the handle, straining as tried to pull it up. "I still don't know how you do it" he laughed, realizing it wasn't gonna happen.

"Smell the silent judgment?" Tony said.

"Please, Stark, by all means," Clint said, returning to his seat. As Tony stood up they all teased him, not thinking he could actually do it.

And he couldn't. Even with his Iron Man suit on it wouldn't budge. Rhodey tried to help him, both of them using their suits.

Even Banner tried but nothing happened and he had to stop before he hulked out. When it was Steve's turn both Thor and Daphne watched in anticipation.

"Come on, Steve" Daphne cheered. Rolling up his sleeves, Steve grabbed the handle with both hands. For a moment the hammer moved, only Thor and Daphne noticing. When it didn't move again Steve sat back down.

"Daphne," Clint said, gesturing for her to go next.

"I don't think so. If Steve isn't worthy there's no way I am" she said.

Steve looked at her but didn't say anything as Banner called for Nat to try next. "Oh, no, no. That's not a question I need answered," she said.

"All deference to the Man Who Wouldn't Be King, but it's rigged," Tony said.

"You bet your ass," Clint said.

"Steve, he said a bad language word" Hill pointed out.

"Did you tell everyone about that?" Steve asked, looking at his sister who just laughed and shook her head.

"The handle's imprinted, right? Like a security code. Whosoever is carrying Thor's fingerprints is I think, the literal translation" Tony said.

"Yes. It's a very interesting theory. I have a simpler one" Thor said, picking up his hammer. "You're all not worthy."
