The devil forbids us to know the truth,
The truth Christ wants us to hear.
He blinds the old and the youth,
And spreads the seeds of fear.
Lord, reveal your knowledge,
Let it be known to them that find it foolish,
That Lord they may tread the divine knowledge—
Of Christ.
