Preface

The Angel:
"Cruel and cold like winds on the sea,
Will you ever return to me?
Hear my voice, sing with the tide,
My love will never die."

The Lady:
"Over waves and deep in the blue,
I will give up my heart for you.
Ten long years I'll wait to go by,
My love will never die."

The Angel:
"Come, my love, be one with the sea,
Rule with me for eternity!
Drown all dreams so mercilessly
And leave their souls to me."

The Lady:
"Play the song you sang long ago,
And wherever the storm may blow,
You will find the key to my heart,
We'll never be apart!"

The Angel:
"Wild and strong, you can't be contained!
Never bound, nor ever chained!
Wounds you caused will never end,
And you will never end."

Both together:
"Cruel and cold like winds on the sea,
Will you ever return to me?
Hear my voice, sing with the tide,
Our love will never die."

Herein lies a story inspired by the song above, though written by one with precious little nautical knowledge. Apologies in advance for imminent mistakes and errors. I shall endeavour to do this as best as I can.

As always, please also investigate the stories of those who have supported me since the beginning:

Jedi_Raptor
TheMossyMadame
_LuneLAzur_
KaiAndBunny
Boensty

These fully deserve attention, so if you have the time(and interest), I humbly request that you check their tales out as well. They all have a great deal to offer, in one way or another.

Full thanks goes out to my steady readers, all of whom have been either inspirational or encouraging since they started reading, commenting or voting on my work. And thank you for your patience: I have a lot on my plate already, but it appears some stories just really would like to come out. I will start work on the first chapter in a little while, but I hope the description and how I arranged the song above gives you some idea of what is to come.

Enjoy.
