The Knight and the Princess
It was a bright and sunny morning
When fate brought together
Two people yet again
One was a boy the other a girl
The trees danced with glee
The wind whistled loudly
The birds sang a lovely sonnet
As the two meet unexpectedly
It was a book that brought them
Face to face
The tool destiny used as an excuse
To bring together another couple
The girl smiled fondly
As the boy gave her the book
That the wind accidentally carried
Right to the foot of the boy
The boy kindly returned the smile
And when the girl turned to go her way
The boy grabbed her hand
A mischievous grin plastered across
His jubilant face
The duo instantly became best of friends
Never leaving each other’s side
Partners both in mischief and kindness
With fingers intertwined and blissful grins
Pasted across their gleeful faces
They set out and faced the world head on
The world was taken aback
Yet accepted the duo wholeheartedly
Chuckling and shaking their heads
At their unusual friendship
And what others had referred to as “Young Love”
And thus, they labeled them
The Knight and the Princess
But there was a question lingering in all
Of their complicated minds
A question they thought best unanswered
Who was the Knight and who was his Princess?
I grinned devilishly
When their backs were turned to me
For I knew the answer
To that one question
And ever so softly I spoke
When no one was listening
“It was I you labeled ‘Princess’ and him the Knight”
With that I left and went out
To find a boy waiting by a tattered bench
With eyes the color of sand
And hair possessing the blackness of the night
And of course, a grin by his lips
“Hey, Princess,” he greeted
Yep, My Knight.

So far, I think this is my longest poem it's two and a half pages in word! Could you believe that?!?!
