As she stood in the snow
Her feet, white and freezing.
The numbing pain,
Was there all left to know.
The tranquil northern lights shone
Like lanterns of heaven,
Lamenting faeries,
And chilling to the bone
Hold thy head high,
For the time of the light is nigh.
