Fire and Ice

The contradiction that she is made up of
Carrying a lifeless heart who still knows how to be kind
The question is of fire and ice.

Oh, she can warm a room with just a smile.
Be the life of the party
Or a shoulder to the one who can melt in her fire.

But something in her is made of ice.
Safeguarded by her layers
Breathing soft in a stranded space.
When the night fall freezes,
So does the tears rolling down her neck.

It's the question of fire and ice
She is extreme

She has deserted her soul on the poles
Lost in the icy winds
But she can shine like the sun
Only if it wasn't meant for her.

Only if she knew, she is breaking herself
In her fire and ice.
