(Maria pov)
I was sitting in my room, reading a book when * tap tap *
Cheuy oinked in surprise, and went to go look. He gave me a look of relief to signal to me it was ok.
I got up from my bed to see who or what it was. I looked and- oh! It was just my best friend Scarie!
I laugh and open the door for her.
( Scarlett pov )
I was waiting for Maria to open the door, when I heard the most beautiful thing ever, Her laugh.
I was in such a trance I didn't even notice that she opened the door. I was lost in my thoughts when- "Scarie? You ok?" She laughs. "What? Yeah, I'm ok." I reply as if I wasn't just daydreaming about her.
"You sure? I think the cold is getting to you, come inside." She said in a comforting tone. It wasn't true at all actually, the cold doesn't bother me that much, but whatever cover I can get I guess.
As we go inside a rush of warmth hits my body. "Feels better in here doesn't it?" She asks "Yeah, very" I reply laughing.
