Narrators pov:
Sonic heard Shadow agree as his ears pointed upwards, then behind him, hearing something sneaking up on him.
"Are you sure we should do it lik-" Sonic took the opportunity as he pinned him to the tree and went for it while it left Shadow flummoxed.
Forzen, he didnt know what it do until he saw something.. big..
He panicked and quickly stopped Sonic as he took his hand and attempted to pull Sonic out the mud. "Shit!" Shadow yelled quickly ducking down to Sonics leg that was stuck
Shadow mumbled the same curses as he pulled harder, leaving his counterpart lost in thoughts 'Why is he caring for me now? We where sworn rivals before all this.' Sonic thought as something hit him the second hardest, Shadow cursing.
Unlike Sonic hes never cursed, atleast near him.. the only time he recalled Shadow swearing was the search history, Sonic's muzzle turned light pink as he snapped back to reality as a groan could be heard from Shadow
"Ugh!" He expressed as he finally got his rival out the mud, and luckily only costed a bloody arm.
The two zoomed across the forest, going deeper inside as they stopped near a pond
"Perfect, now go shower." Shadow said pushing Sonic in "Hey!" The wet hedgehog yelled. "Move over!" Shadow said walking in.
The hedgehogs splashed around laughing and finally having a fun time together but little did they know.. some people were watching them..
"Pixo! Look at this!" The green cat gestured for the angel to fly down
"What do you want Koti?" The angel dog asked the cat
Koti was a cat with green fur and mind control while Pixo was a dog with white fur, wings, and horns on her head. She also had two big fangs coming out of her mouth like a vampire
"Aren't those the guys who we were ordered to kill?" Pixo asked "Yea especially the blue one, but i think we should wait until we get Sliat back on team." Koti wispered.
"Your right, we're supposed to be finding her right now, not birdwatching lovebugs!" Pixo wispered in a annoyed tone
"They aren't lovebugs, there rivals." Koti said
"My cupid senses says something more than that.."

"Kit! Wheres Sonic and Shadow?!" Tails asked running down the stairs "Oh! I was passing by their room and heard something along the lines of 'chaos control' i think" Kit responded reverting his focus from the tv onto Tails
"Oh chaos! Dont they now about the new animals discovered?!" Rouge yelled sitting next to Kit
"New animals?" Silver said "Yea, there's dangerous and highly powerful animals discovered! It could kill Sonic if hes caught off-guard!" Tails said running back upstairs to grab the Miles Electric

Everyone could hear Tails yelling throughout the entire house
"Hes going at it," Rouge mentioned

"Ugh! This is getting boring, can we poison them yet?" Pixo exclaimed "No, remember?" Koti rolled her eyes
Without a word, Pixo scooped up Koti and flew away catching the hedgehogs attention
"Should we follow them? They might lead us home" Sonic whispered as Shadow nodded slowly

"There following us, great." Koti looked back at the two speeding trails "Then you know what to do!" Pixo expressed as she pulled out a bow and arrow
"One.. . Shot!" Koti expressed as one of the trails following them stopped as the other soon followed
"Shoot!" Sonic expressed as a arrow hit his chest,
"Sonic!" Shadow could be seen running towards the other
"Ugh!" Sonic groaned as Shadow pulled out the arrow and quickly bandaged it with his socks and some bandages in a pouch he brought with them
"Do you always have to get in situations like this!?" Shadow scolded Sonic while his hands where pressed hardly on the other's chest
Only grunts and groans could be heard from the blue one, blushing
"Cant you shut up!?" Shadow yelled getting sick of how weird the hedgehog sounds. Sonic rolled his eyes
"There. Im pretty sure the bleeding stopped, now im covered in your nasty blood." Shadow said in annoyance and disgust "We need a way out of here and fast. I can't stand being here with you and your blood."
"Especially a hospital." Shadow finally finished talking as Sonic got a idea
"Wait! How about you throw me in the sky so i could locate the nearest city!" Sonic said as he weakly wiped his nose with his hand
"Good idea for a faker like you." Shadow said crossing his arms "Now spin-dash so its easier to lift you," Shadow said as the other jumped into his arms
Shadow lifted Sonic above him as he threw him into the air
Sonic stayed in a ball so he could reach as high as he could as he looked around and spotted some buildings
"North!" Sonic yelled as he flew back down into Shadow's arms

As the other was running, Sonic yawned as slowly fell into a deep slumber. Shadow smiled as he calmly wispered
"Sleep well my faker"
