In the sunset of yesterday

I thought it was wise to go home

How wrong could I be

What else could I do

In thought, it was a place called home

but This was a Nation Without Tears

Oh my Africa

Paraded among the infidels

As a haven of hope

Molested among the unscrupulous as a token

And now the dew has spoken

A fog of dryness possesses my soul

And yet I cant cry

For my motherland

For a nation without tears
