"It's Valentine's day!" Enid says excitedly
I giggle at her enthusiasm and sit down, the lesson begins and I start taking notes
"Do you think Miss Thornhill has a boyfriend?"

"I mean, look at her...she's a gorgeous woman. I bet she has a lot of suitors"
At hearing that something turns in my stomach and I clench my fist
"You okay?"

I look up and see Xavier standing in front of me

The boy hands me a bouquet of red roses and I gasp
"Happy Valentine's day"
He kisses me on the cheek and leaves, I look at the flowers and smile

I watch as Xavier gives Y/n a bouquet of roses and then kisses her on the cheek and I clench my fists
Does he like her?
I take a deep breath to calm down and walk towards the girl
"Hey"
"H-hi Miss Thornhill"
"That's a pretty bouquet of flowers you got there" I say
"T-thank you"
"Can I ask who gave it to you?"
"It was...Xavier"
"I see"
I look at the y/e/c eyed girl and start fidgeting with the hem of my coat

My eyes widen at hearing the redhead say that
"No, I don't like him like that! He's just a friend"
She looks relieved at hearing that and I furrow my eyebrows
Why does she care if I like Xavier? Is she jealous? No, that's impossible
