Shadow gripped the seat tails sat in, tails ear flicked at the sound of his chair flexing under shadow grasp feeling hurried to change the subject to protect himself

"Why dont we start the investigation now that we already have our suspects so lets just get out of here" tails said laughing nervously, his sudden announcement earning everyone's attention "tails hon are you sure isn't it a little.. early?" Rouge said glancing at shadow for a quick second but not fast enough for shadow not to catch it.

Shadow narrowed his eyes at the bat what did she mean by that anyway?

"Well yes but we can do it right now we already have enough evidence to convince the police" tails said beginning to pack a bag, rouge sighed "well if you say so" rouge said turning to shadow "well hon since you are here why dont you help us? Then afterward you can go on and brute as much as you want" rouge said shadows frown deepened "i can do whatever i want bat, and i already planned on helping since you're so annoying so shut up and let me do what i need to." Shadow was losing his patience yet rouge didn't seem surprised as if she was hoping for the response

"Good now lets start by you chaos controlling to town square for us?" Rouge said putting an arm around his shoulder shadow rolled his eyes as everyone else made their way toward shadow who said his magical words and in a blink of an eye they were in town square

Tails pulled out his miles electric bringing up their first suspects address "our suspects live down the same route so this will be quick" tails said taking lead, everyone followed behind him as if they were playing follow the leader, Shadow rubbed under his nose there was this smell in the air he smelt it before it was especially strong in the garage he just thought it wouldn't be the time to bring it up and it is a rather familiar smell but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

"Ok this seems to be the house!" Tails said as he walked up the drive way going up to knock on the door yet still everyone followed but shadow stayed standing behind everyone remembering the location taking in the small details such as the plastic flamingo in the yard, how the red bricked two story home had three trees in the back, and lastly no vehicles of any sort in the driveway

The door opened after a solid three minutes revealing a tall brown haired white woman just like in her picture, the person who had just opened her door with a bright smile on her face was Vernell Blanchard aka a suspect of a hit and run, a murderer and suspected for drug dealing. Yes, what a great person.

"Hello can i help all of you?" She said looking around at all the eyes that stared back at her and then shadow who was glaring Vernell quickly looked away "hello miss there are a couple of questions we'd like to ask you"...
