A Waiting Bride}

I'll tear through the fabric of space and time,

Anything to make you mine.

I'll climb over mountains and swim through seas,

Just to have you here beside me.

I'll wish on countless stars and keep my fingers crossed,

If only you will no longer be lost.

I'll forget all my troubles and you'll forget all of yours,

Together, we'll dance in the ruins of both of our private wars.

I touch your skin and you'll play with my hair,

It'll be like you were always here and never there.

My heart will grow with love only you will know,

As we bask in the beauty of our true love's glow.

And when it is time for you to leave my side,

I wait for you to return so I can become your bride.

Over the sea and in a distant land,

I hope my written words will reach your battle weary hands.

For no matter the reason or rhyme,

I will wait for you until the end of time.
