3. The Tempest's Resolve

Ciel-san and I have been holding hands for quite a while now

As much as I would like to stay like this for longer, I am afraid that we have to do other things right now

I slowly let go of Ciel-san's hands

Probably sensing the change in my mood, she puts on a more serious face

"Ciel-san, although I'm a bit afraid to ask, what even happened to us back then?"

I say, as my curiosity had reached it's peak

The most pressing issue right now is figuring out what sort of changes happened to us when we accepted that plea or whatever it was

"Yes. When Master accepted the Voice of the World's request, 2 souls fused with Master's soul. One of them had a tremendous amount of Turn Null energy contained in it. Said Turn Null energy remade Master's soul. In addition to that, it caused Master to undergo an evolution. Aft-"

"Slow down, Ciel-san. One thing at a time. Firstly, what do you mean that I underwent an evolution? I thought that I had reached the end of my evolutionary tree. You said so too, right?"

That is right. Ciel-san had indeed said that I had reached the peak of my race, and that it was the last step I could take in order to evolve

"That is correct, Master. The Ultimate Slime, or Viscous Dragonoid Demon God was the final evolution in Master's evolution tree. Master's current race was not there before" She replied casually

"If that is the case, what is my current race called then?"

Ciel-san looked at me, blinking a couple times

After which, she started to speak again

"The name of Master's current race is 'Viscous Dragonoid Stellar Void Chaos God', or Slime of The End" She says

She says what!?

Is it just me, or are the names of my race expanding every time I evolve?

I mean, what does Viscous Dragonoid Stellar Void Chaos God mean anyway!?

Seeing as Ciel-san suddenly made an amused face, my shock must show on my expression

"Umm, Ciel-san, mind explaining to me what that is supposed to mean?" 

"Ah, yes, the race is named as Slime of The End, since the race is an incarnation of the end. Simply put, the concept of delivering the end is ingrained is the Slime of The End's existence, meaning that it allows for a much larger destructive power. The race is not only on the level of True dragons, but much higher. The reason for that is that it doesn't just personify it's concept, but surpasses it"

What Ciel-san is saying has already turned unintelligible, even though she seems to be trying to simplify the explanation as much as possible

"However, Ciel-san, what advantages does that give us?" I ask, trying to get Ciel-san to end that hellish explenation

"For one, we have gained a lot of energy. Our energy reserves have multiplied so much that they are not able to be compared to what we had before. Also, the quality of our energy has increased by a very large amount. Not only in purity, but in density as well. Due to that, the amount of energy we can use at once has also massively increased. Since Master has the skill [Harvest Lord "Shub-Niggurath"] I created all of the Ultimate Skills we have analyzed thus far with Skill Creation and added them to Master's arsenal. Due to the fusion of souls that happened, Master has enough capacity in his soul to have every Ultimate Skill at once and then have a lot of room to spare as well"
