Few days passed on.
Suri was working really hard to earn money.
One day her morning sickness made her feel worst and her check up date arrived, so she decided to take a leave from work.
She called Eric and asked him for leave, he agreed.
Meanwhile Eric called Kent.
*on call*
Kent: "Hello?"
Eric: "It's me Eric"
Kent: "Yeah say what is it?"
Eric: "Suri is taking work off today"
Kent: "Why, Did she said something else?"
Eric: "She said she's going to the gynac."
Kent: "Okay I'll see."
Kent went to see Suri at her home.
*knock Knock*
Suri was looking at her childhood pictures, her sister was at school, her father opened the door.
Stuart: "Hi!"
Kent smiled, he bought flower bouquet too.
Suri: "Who is it daddy?"
Kent came inside.
She saw him, she got angry.
Suri: "What are you doing here?"
Kent: "I want to talk please.."
[he said calmly]
Suri: "Leave my house right now!"
[she yelled]
Kent: "Su, Please just talk to me once... Please!"
[he requested]
Suri: "Dad, please tell him to leave or else I'll call the police."
[she yelled]
Kent: "Suri Please..."
[he said with all the hope in his voice]
They both stared at each others.
Kent's voice and eyes were numb.
Suri sighed.
Suri: "What is it?"
[she asked calmly]
Kent smiled.
Stuart: "You guys talk, I am in my room."
Stuart left the leaving room.
Kent came towards Suri.
Suri: "Just Stay where you are."
[she immediately snapped at him]
Kent took his step back.
Kent: "Su, I know I.."
Suri: "Look If you're going to say how sorry you are for me than I'm not interested, If you have something else to say except the apologies then go ahead..."
[she interrupted in his words]
Kent sighed.
Kent looked at Suri.
Suri was waiting for him to talk.
Kent: "when are you going to the gynac?"
[he asked intentionally]
Suri: "Why?"
Kent: "You said you'll talk to me, so don't ask questions just answer me"
[he said disgusted]
Suri: "Today."
[she said irritated]
Kent: "Cool, now go get ready, we're going to the gynac."
[he said commanding her]
Suri: "I'm not going anywhere with you."
[she said as she started leaving the hallway]
Kent got angry with her behavior.
He blocked her path.
Kent: "DO I LOOK IN A GOOD MOOD TODAY TO TAKE ALL YOUR SHIT NICELY?"
[he said in anger]
Suri got scared but she didn't showed it outside.
Suri: "I'm not going anywhere."
Kent: "YOU HAVE TO, CAUSE I BET YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE MY BAD SIDE."
[he threatened her]
She looked at him and didn't said any word.
She went to her bedroom to get ready.
Few minutes later.
She came outside wearing a peach colored midi, her 5 months old bump was fully visible.
Kent fell for her beauty.
They both left her house and sat inside his bmw.
Kent looked at Suri.
Suri was looking outside the window.
Kent: "How old is the baby?"
[he asked casually]
She looked at him.
Suri: "Why would you care!!"
[she said sarcastically]
He looked with anger filled gaze at her.
Suri gor scared.
Suri: "5 months"
Kent: "So, have you decided any names yet?"
[he asked to continue the conversation]
She looked at him.
Suri thinking 'Wow, look he's back as the father now. Now he will love to be in the baby's life, he will do all the father-to-be things now, I'm not going to tell him about the adoption because as obviously he's not going to let me do it, If he's not going to let me give this kid for adoption than he's going to raise the kid by himself cause I'm not going to be in both of their life.'
Suri: "No I haven't!"
[she replied]
Kent: "Well, I have selected few names, if it'll be a girl I'll name her Krystal or Sunrise, if it'll be a boy I'll name him Kyle or Stephen"
[he said smiling]
Suri rolled her eyes.
Suri: "Good."
Kent looked at her.
Kent: "So have you bought any baby accessories yet?"
[he asked unintentionally]
Suri got confused.
Suri: "Baby accessories? What are those?"
[she asked confused]
Kent chuckled.
Kent: "I mean like cot, clothes, toys, walking chairs, and other stuff."
[he explained]
Suri: "No, Obviously not I'm hardly saving for my delivery..."
[she replied looking outside]
Kent looked at her.
Kent: "You don't have to pay for your nursing..."
[he said confidently]
Suri looked at him.
They arrived at the gynac.
They both got outside of his car and started walking inside the clinic.
Kent while walking: "I'll pay for all the expenses."
Suri: "You don't have to, this is my problem and I know how to deal with it."
[she said in a harsh tone]
His anger got triggered by her words.
But he didn't said anything as they were in public.
Suri and Kent waited for few minutes.
He was still angry but didn't showed it.
Than the receptionist called Suri's name.
Suri and Kent went inside to the doctor's cabin.
Dr. John checked her baby.
Kent was amazed looking at his baby on the screen.
John: "Everything looks fine till now, so in a week you'll be in your 6th month, feeling excited?"
[he asked joyfully]
Suri smiled: "No."
Kent: "I'm very very excited, I'm going to be a father in few months"
John: "I can totally understand the feeling. When My wife was pregnant I was too excited about the baby."
[he said]
Suri rolled her eyes.
Doctor gave her new set of medicine.
Kent: "Hey! Han you give me pictures of my baby?"
John smiled.
John: "Yeah sure why not."
He gave him Suri's scan images.
Kent smiled.
Kent: "Oh thank you!"
John: "My pleasure Mr. Fredrickson, if I would've known that Ms. Harrington is your wife I'd provided her the best treatment policy of our hospital"
Suri looked at John, she got angry and disgusted.
Suri: "I am not his wife. He's just the baby's father nothing else"
[she said in an aggressive tone]
John: "Am, am sorry"
[he said nervously]
Suri left his cabin.
Kent: "Am sorry on her behalf you know she's pregnant. Everything's bit hard for her..."
John: "Yeah! I can understand, I'm totally okay with it."
Kent smiled and left.
They both sat in his car.
Kent: "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHY ARE YOU BEING TOO RUDE WITH EVERYONE?"
[he yelled at her]
Suri hold her tears back.
Suri: "Take me back home."
Kent: "HE WAS JUST KIDDING THERE, HE DIDN'T MEANT TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS..."
Suri didn't replied, she just sat looking outside.
Kent was continuesly looking at suri.
Kent: "AND YOU DONT HAVE TO TELL EVERYONE THAT I'M JUST THE BABY'S FATHER, I WAS MORE THAN THAT BEFORE."
[he yelled in anger]
Suri: "Just take me back home."
[she said again trying to act strong]
Kent: "WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE UNTIL YOU ANSWER ME, I'M NOT DRIVING THE CAR THAT'S IT!"
[he yelled in anger as he took the keys out of the car]
Suri looked at Kent.
Suri: "I want to go home now Kent."
[she said trying to control her tears]
Kent left the car in anger.
Suri was sitting alone inside the car.
He went towards a nearby shop to cool his mind.
Suri thinking 'Why do everybody have to make me feel so terrible about myself, I'm not a bad person. Why do he came back in my life? Why did he just agreed to take his baby's responsibility, everything is making me cruel in my own eyes'
