Shah Zain's POV (Edited)
I was have just reached Hashir's house. He's been MIA since many days and I have enough of his cat and mouse game. I knocked hard on the door and waited for him to open. After about 5 minutes, I heard footsteps approaching towards the door and finally my best friend's face came into my view. He looked tired.

His eyes were dull and it looked like he was in the middle of a heavy sleep. I smiled cheekily at him. He rolled his eyes and opened his door wide enough for me to enter. I settled myself on the comfortable looking couch and he plopped down beside me. He turned to me and asked in a taunting voice

"Will you tell me why did you grace me with your presence at this ungodly time?"

He passed me a sickengly sweet smile in the end. I sighed heavily and instead asked him a question

"You tell? Where were you since many days?"

Hashir chuckled and again mocked me

"Well, there's this thing called work which I do...unlike you."

He will never waste a chance in taunting me. I rolled my eyes and clarified myself

"I'm good as I am. I don't want to handle such a big responsibility."

He clicked his tongue and turned fully to me. He looked more awake now. He rubbed his palm over his face and stated, his voice held desperation

"Look, I know it's a very huge responsibility. But you should also know that it's your right. You'll have to take over the business after your father. May Allah grant him long live but no one knows what's next, Zain. Try to understand."

He can't also be lecturing me. I motioned from my hand to stop and stated ending the whole conversation

"Look I'm not in the mood right so please refrain from talking."

Hashir blew out a deep breath and juts shook his head. He leaned back on the sofa and asked. This time rather curiously

"What happened that to you decided to come here at this time? Is everything alright at home?"

I assured him

"Yeah everyone is fine except dado."

He went on an alert mood and urgently asked

"Is your dado ok? Is she sick?"

I shook my head and tried to calm him down

"Dado is fit, physically. But mentally she is not."

He looked puzzled and shoot away the next question

"What do you mean?"

I sighed. I don't want to remember that day again. But I have to tell him. I turned to him and started narrating the whole story
"Well, it all started that day when...."

Shiza's POV

I reached to the Jeweler's shop in maximum 30 minutes. The road was pretty much empty as it was already 11 in the night. I know you must be thinking that I shouldn't have come alone at this time of night but situation made me do it. The jeweler is here is about to close but when he saw me entering inside, he stopped. He eyed me probably thinking what emergency I had to come here this late at night. I didn't say anything and took out my earrings. I presented the earrings to him and he eyed them curiously. He looked up and then asked me

"Are you sure you want to sell them?"

I don't know what does he mean by that? Does he not want me to sell them? But why would he not want me to sell them? I'm practically profiting him. When I didn't answer he shook his head and said
