THE MISSION was not supposed to end this way. I knew that there's a margin of error in our strategy. But a failure as grand as this one? Ugh!
For a while, I had been thinking if we were tricked by that Morrie and lured us into a trap. I was so obsessed with getting inside the raven's nest that I overlooked how he easily gave in to our demands. Nahuli na nga kami, wala pa kaming napala sa panghihimasok namin sa kanilang kuta. Every move that we had made was for naught.

"Ano nang gagawin natin?" bulong ni Aiden sa akin. "Kapag nalaman ng House leader namin itong ginawa ko, siguradong lagot ako sa kanya!"
Nagkibit-balikat ako. I could care less about what might happen to him. Parehas naming ginusto 'to. I was more worried about what my House leader would think of me. Kung mapapaliwanagan ko siya, posibleng hindi gano'n kabigat ang parusa sa 'kin.
Half an hour later, someone outside the common room announced the arrival of three House leaders. They were ushered inside. Amidst the crowd of red, I finally saw people in blue, yellow and green. Their eyes widened when they saw us wearing the crimson uniform. Sandaling nagkatagpo ang mga mata namin bago kumalas ng tingin. I couldn't say if they were fuming in rage or trying to restrain themselves from slapping us one by one.
"Is there some sort of conspiracy going on here?" The proud leader of House Moriarty barged in from another door. He was followed by an entourage of Moriartians who walked like dignified Council members. "What are your members doing inside the sacred halls of our Manor? And why are they wearing the bloody red uniform of our House?"
"Honestly, we have no idea of their plan nor intention to infiltrate your Manor," Holmesian leader Lenine answered, shaking her head. She shot me with an inquisitive look. "We're as surprised and shocked as you are."
