The Well-Reserved Duo – Johnny "Soap" McTavish & Simon "Ghost" Riley

Both Soap and Ghost's journey started when they both split up after Graves' betrayal, causing both to try finding each other in the midst of chaos. They did, and overtime – they grew closer. At first, Ghost wouldn't really communicate with anybody that he's not familiar with and would just only talk to people who he knew clearly like Price. But the moment he met Soap, he knew that something had enlightened within him.

Soap brought back Ghost's emotions everyday by a little amount, but it was worth it considering that he learned how to be kind of sympathetic towards people. Wonder why he didn't get impulsively angry at Graves during the interrogation and only wanted to get information about Shepherd?

All Johnny's influence.

Old Ghost would flame Graves so hard and would be so cold towards him during the interrogation. But the current one would just try his best to not get stressed or angry fast, which is why he learned how to forgive Graves.

Thanks to that damn-fucking Scottish.

Soap and Ghost were already positioned to their place as they prepare to run towards the front of the base when the bombs from the other side go off. Both waiting in anticipation, but were both ready and fearless.

Not before long, they hear the loud shattering of explosions that went off from the other side of the base – witnessing the glory of the impact as it shrouded the sky with dark smoke. That was the ultimate green light of the both of them, and so they ran. Their running had started their part in the plan – going into phase two.

As they were running, they noticed the aircrafts that Laswell must've sent as they witness the fire bombs that hailed from the air that set the whole roof on fire, creating a devastating representation of hell itself – at least that was what Ghost thought when he saw it arise the first time.

That didn't bother them too much and just kept running to their heart's content as they enter the radius of hot temperature, shortly reaching the front of the base. They come across a highly secured and technological door that needed a card to pass through. They couldn't move further at this point considering that the extra lockpickers that Soap brought is useless.

That was when a sliver of hope – Graves entered their sight and immediately pulling out the extra bombs that were hanging from his front.

Back in the armory, he was hesitant to bring bombs at first as well – but as he realized that this will be one of the most highly secured places considering it's one of the first outposts built, he broke his hesitation and immediately brought a couple bombs with him just for safety. Luckily, that's exactly what they needed.

"Graves!"

"Y'all lucky I brought bombs as well, hm? Might as well make use of my past reputation and rebel against Price's command!" He confidently said which made Soap laugh while Ghost just stood there, frozen in shock probably.
