She was arrested for domestic abuse on July 31 in 2020. She was charged with: domestic battery, assault with a deadly weapon, and brandishing a knife. As she had pulled a knife on her boyfriend; Miles Fallon.
She was racist to her co-star; Jenna Ortega. On, 2018, April 26, Jenna Ortega posted a tweet, revealing something Veronica had said to her; "when you say all Mexicans are gardeners to MY face, yet you have the privilege to play one on TV. Yes I said privilege."
Linked to the quote above, she continues; "When someone says they hope Trump builds a wall and that Mexicans should be deported because they're taking educational funds from white people just because they're minorities...then go on to claim they're Latina when it works for them. SMH."
In 2018 she had posted a series of tweets about gun controls, comparing it to the banning of alcohol and how people sold it illegally. And that people will just do that again, with the guns. "Does anyone remember when alcohol was banned then everyone started underground selling, guns will be the same; WE need to protect ourselves'.
