Rough BG:

Y/N is a part-time Magician's assistant to Mesmeron. Once he gets mutated in front of them on stage one night, they go on an investigation to find their former stage partner.

They go around town after school one night with flyers of their friend and happen upon two policemen having doughnuts in their car. While the two weren't much help, they overheard on the police radio that the mutant hippo on tv was spotted at a local news station. Having connected the dots between Mesmeron and the mutant hippo, Y/N takes a shortcut to the news station in order to warn their friend.

They arrived just after the turtles awakened from their trance and Hypnopotamus had been defeated. And so our story begins.
