Barbeque Time Pt. 2

Throughout cooking and preparing everything they wouldn't stop looking at me and then looking at each other talking about something which on part of my brain is making feel a little self-conscious but then the other logical part is telling me they wanted to go on a date with me maybe they are just talking about how to get me to agree.

I realized that I am the one that is looking at them this time and they are looking back at me, but something is making me keep looking at them both well that is until faith decides to sneak up on me,

F--"Do you need help?" I jumped a little and I hold my chest and said,

S--"Nope actually I just got done with my job and brought them out, what were you doing?" she blushes, and I laugh,

S--"Okay I get it" she laughs then we heard the doorbell ring, and the twins get up and walk through the house and when they come back out, they are with an older couple and I am confused I looked around and I see enough food for a few people, then there is only a me, Maddox, Lennox, Faith, Alex, Knox, and the older couple so I looked down at my watch seeing it is 3:30 and I looked over at Faith and asked in a calm voice,

S--"Faith was this a family cookout and not a big get together?" she looked like she had been caught,

F--"O-okay maybe but I wanted you with me to meet the people that pretty much raised Knox"

S--"I get that, but I feel like I am intruding"

F--"I am sorry, I should have told you, if you want to leave, I understand"

A--"Why are you leaving?" I turned around and saw Alex,

S--"Umm I haven't decided yet, I really want to stay and support my friend but also I feel like I am intruding since I am not really related to anyone"

A--"Please stay?" she walks up by Faith and they both give me their pouty face, I try not to let a smile show but I fail by letting one show and a laugh come out of me,

S--"Fine I will stay" they both stayed yelling yay really loud and jumping up and down, I blush when everyone looks over at us and after calming them down, we finally made it to the table where I saw that there is only a seat left between the twins and I calmly take the seat. I was silent and listened to everything when suddenly the lady that's name was Kelly suddenly said,

K--"Well let's not let the food get cold" I looked down at my plate and at the food, I always hated eating in front of people that I don't really know, and I looked up at Faith and I smiled at her which she gave me a sad look I shook my head, I only really thing it is worse today is because I am in between the hottest men alive. I take my shaking hand and get a little bit of each thing I wanted, and I ate a little bit of each but then I noticed that Kelly was looking at me and I stopped putting my fork down,

K--"Honey, I have noticed that I don't even know you name" I wipe my mouth with the napkin and said,

S--"Sorry ma'am I didn't even realize, my name is Serenity Mason, I am best friends with Faith, and I am Alex's tutor" I suddenly felt a hand on each of the thighs and I quickly push them off,

K--"Well it is very nice to meet you, my name is Kelly Donovan, and this is my husband Connor Donovan"

S--"Well it is very nice to meet you" I smiled at each of them receiving a smile back and she decided to ask me more questions which I don't mind at all,

K--"So you are a tutor full time?"

S--"Yes I am, actually I am a teacher's assistant, but I take on one to two kids at a time and tutor them, but right now I only tutor Alex"

K--"That is lovely, I always wanted to be a teacher"

S--"Really?"

K--"Really, but I never did, I got into running a business instead" I nodded smiling,
