When the course of light
invading
grasps hold the inner sight
evading
and all these dreams
and all these ways
lay bare a restless darkness
shadingThere my spirit
not divine
yet finds a center
and unwinds
into a greater
and deeper void
sublimeDown the lattice
round this shell
crossing Heaven
and forgotten hell
into a fetal
comfort calling
all I knew
past all my
stallingHere by ways
a graceful art
pulling strings
and plucking hearts
There in meter
this metronome
Counts the waves
from their startAnd a pattern emerges
in quick dimensions
complex and true
From a simple inception
and all I had
was to just let go
Give the river room
to ebb and flow
