The engagement ceremony was done without any trouble it was a small ceremony with just close relatives and not any big arrangements So it was done in peace

After dinner they move to there respective rooms and teju was standing staring at the sky playing with her ring.

" Today they sealed the relationship between them now they are one step closer to be each other's partner to be each other biggest support system and he is so good she can't just take him forgranted she have to open him and let him be a part of her life " She thought staring at the sky feeling sleepy she went and laid on the bed and slept engulf her

Next morning

They started there journey back home in Karan's car after breakfast

Teju wae normal as they were not yet on highway and they are not crossing the same highway so no worries

" Tejasswi " he said making her look at him." If you don't want to answer then its fine but i was curious why you were taking bhabhi's name on that highway "

Teju look at him shocked " you don't know what happened to them '

" i know that they had an accident on some highway i was posted in dehli that time and the city was in high alert and as the inspector i was required so i just came for three days and i even asked dad about the case but he shrugged it saying he handled and i also avoid as why the touch the wound again and again when it's healing " karan said and teju look at him

Teju stare at him and then hold his hand and he look at her confused

" It was mishti's plan to have a picnic in the lonavala's farmhouse jiju was in jodhpur and was planned to come a day after the whole family had left me and mishti were late so we were coming in my car wheh we were leaving when she got jiju's call and he told he is in mumbai and he will pick her up we decide to meet him mid way and then she went to his car and they were ahead me and my car engine wae getting red so i stopped and they went ahead and after getting engine full i move ahead and in side of a high way a car wae burning a track was left with his door open a lil away from car i come out of the car and saw the (her voice broke her hands were shivering) most dreadful sight my mishti was laying in the pool of her blood i immediately run to her and put her head on my lap calling ambulance of the near by hospital jiju was a lil away from mishti unconscious mishti called my name and my tears were not stopping she hold her hand and whispered take care brokenly her breaths were getting heavy she smiled at me for the last time and her hand fell down and i couldn't believe it the shock made me unconscious and i don't know how we reach hospital who called our parents nothing " teju narrated everything to him and he just took her in his arms calming her down after some 15 20 minutes when she was calm

" you guys did police case? "

" Yaa dad was adamant and in two days case was closed the truck driver was caught he confesed he was drunk and he didn't did it intentionally and he got the punishment of life time prison and the case was closed " Teju said

" But what the hell police investigated the highway to come and go to lonavala are different even drunk you won't drive half a highway wrong without hitting anyone just to hit bhai's car and even drunk state how did he run away " karan said frustrated

" You are telling me that " Teju started

" It was not an accident i m not sure i need to check one more thing to be damn sure that it wasn't an accident " karan said thinking something

" Karan i wanna be a part of this with you i want real culprit of my mishti behind jail " Teju said looking and he immediately shake his head

" No Tejasswi it's a dangerous thing and you should not he involved " Karan said

" Ohh please you think this will stop me you don't know how stubborn i can be so either you willingly discuss and tell me things or i use my own methods " She saased at him and he actually smiled seeing the fire that was missing in her eyes back there

" Okay madam as you say " He said agreeing to her and the rest of the ride both were lost in there owh thought

Both had many questions and only the time was suppose to answer them

Karan stops the car on her building gate and move out with her

He come closer and cup her face kissing her forhead " Take care and yaa we will solve the mystery together " he said and she closed her eyed feeling his lips linger a lil more than a peck and then he move away

She look in his eyes nodding at him She turn to go the stopped and turn to him again

Kissing his cheek whispering a quick take care she run away to her building not looking back

Karan touch the place her lips touched and a big smile come on his face

He sit in the car with a happy mood and drove to his place

Next day

He enters the police station he ask the constable to show him the data base room

He obliged and took him there

He searched the year and month and then the file of that day and he took the file with him

Searching it he got the details of the case

Calling the jail the truck driver was locked in

The duty picked it up and his answer was not surprising to him as he was guessing it

The truck driver run away long back and the search team shoot him in the encounter

He was sure the person made the whole plan was smart enough to not leave the loop whole

But he is also a tough police officer who likr challenges he will definitely reach the mastermind
