The next morning, you wake up the smell of batter.

When you trudge over to the breakfast table, you find Dan, Phil, and a plate full of pancakes. "Did you guys make these?" You ask curiously.

"Yeah," Dan smiles proudly. "Try one!"

You bite into a pancake, savoring the fluffy texture. "Mm, it's delicious."

"I told you she'd like it," Dan nudges Phil. Phil rolls his eyes. "Of course, Dan."

"Thanks," you smile at them after finishing your plate. "Oh, and you both owe me an explanation."

"What?" Phil tilts his head.

"Why were you guys making videos at three am?"

"Oh.. Right."

"So..?"

"Well, it's a long story." Dan chips in.

"I have time," you cross your arms.

"Okay. Here's the deal. We make these videos for a bunch of people who watch us on YouTube. They watch us, and we make a bit of money off of it. Sometimes, we don't have time to film during the day, so we film at night."

"Ohhh. I see." You try to comprehend the situation. "That's your job? To make.. YouTube videos?"

"Yeah, basically."

"Why didn't you tell me this before?"

"Well, we didn't want to confuse you or anything."

"Confuse me? You're confusing me right now!"

"Sorry!" Dan laughs.

You smile, looking into Dan's warm, brown eyes. He starts to smile back when suddenly, his eyes widen.

"What?" You look around. "Are you alright, Dan?"

"What? Oh, uh-- I'm okay."

"Then why did you just look at me like that?"

"I forgot to ask you something," he says.

"What is it?"

"Do you, by any chance, fancy me?"

"I might.. A little." You bite your lip.

"I'm.. I'm really sorry." He scratches the back of his neck.

"Why are you sorry?"

"Well, you know how I said I had my heart set on someone?"

"Yeah," you furrow your brows.

"Well... It's a he."

"Wha-"

"I'm gay," he smiles. "With Phil."
