Chapter 23

"So what now?"

"I don't want to lose you" Leah said

"We both fucked up so maybe we should- yeah maybe we should just not be together anymore. Maybe we just need a break"

"Maybe you're right but I want to be with you"

"But we can't be together" I said

"Why not?"

"I'm in Spain, you're in England"

"You told me that we can make it work"

"Look at us, I don't think we can"  I said and got up

The players had a small break so I decided to talk to our coach

"Sarina?"

She turned around

"I want to apologize for my behavior. It's my fault. Leah didn't do anything, don't kick her out of the team. She's an amazing captain, you guys need her"

"I'm the coach Y/n, I decide"

"I know, I respect that. I respect you but this doesn't make any sense" I said

"It doesn't make any sense?"

"I mean it does but we just need to have a conversation with each other. We got in a fight and we didn't do anything about it, that was stupid and unprofessional"

She nodded

"You can go now" She said

"Please take Leah, Lucy and Kiera back. Those players are really important for the squad"

"You can go Y/n"

I nodded and walked away

I was sitting in the dressingroom with Leah, Kiera and Lucy

Everyone was quiet

"This is so fucking stupid" Leah said

"We're professionals and look at us now. Look at us. You guys are playing for one of the biggest clubs and you guys can't even control yourselves"

"Oh so everything is our fault Leah?" Keira said

"No it's not. It's just that- come on- what the fuck are we doing?" Leah said

"I don't know" Lucy said

"We always wanted to win the World Cup, now we can't even play the fucking games for the qualifications"

I stayed quiet

"Why are we fighting about something so stupid?"

"Stupid? Your girlfriend or ex girlfriend kissed my girl-" Keira said

"Your girlfriend kissed me Keira" I said

"Please Keira and Y/n. We're ruining our careers because of our relationships"

"You're right" Lucy said

"I worked so hard for this and now-" Leahs voice broke and her eyes filled up with tears

"I apologize for everything I did" Lucy said

"Me too" Keira said

"I also apologize for everything I did" I said

"I'm sorry too" Leah said

The door opened

"Leah I want to talk to you" Sarina said
