Grace's Adventure In The Nightmare Before Christmas

Chapter 8

Grace gave him a hug, puts her head on his shoulder and said "I thought you were gone"

"There, there I'm here, I'm here, sweetie" Jack said as he rubs her back

"He'll fix things, Jack" Sally said about Santa when she came up them "he knows what to do"

"How did you two get down here?" Jack asked

"Oh, we were trying to... well, we wanted to, to-" Sally said

"To help me" Jack said

"Well it was mostly Sally's idea" Grace said

"I couldn't just let you just-" Sally said

"Sally, I can't believe I never realized that you..." Jack said till the light was on from the Mayor along with the trick or treaters

"Jack! Jack!" Mayor said

"Here he is" Barrel said

"Alive" Lock said

"Just like we said" Shock said

"Grab a hold, my boy" Mayor said as he throws down a rope

Jack hands Grace to Sally, Jack held on the rope while he grabs Sally's hand as she holds on Grace and while Grace holds on Sally very tight and they were pulled up out of Oogie's lair

Meanwhile, Santa went all over the world to fix Christmas and everyone was happy. At Halloween Town they came back, everyone was cheering for Jack's return

As Jack jumped out of the Mayor's car, Grace comes out of the car and follows Jack to in front of the auditorium. Jack noticed her, so he picked her up, tossed her in the air as she giggles and he held her against his shoulder

"It's great to be home" Jack said

"Ho-ho-ho. Happy Halloween!" Santa said as he flew through the moon

"Merry Christmas!" Jack said

Then it started to snow in Halloween and everyone was confused but they are loving it and they played in the snow

Jack spotted Sally going to the cemetery, so he who is still holding Grace in his arms followed Sally

Jack sees Sally picking leaves from the dead flower and he puts Grace on top of the tombstone and started to sing to her as he goes to her as Grace watches them

When Jack and Sally kissed, the wind appeared, making Jack and Sally run down to the hill to protect Grace, then the light appeared and it showed Grace's room

"What's this?" Jack asked

"That's my room from the orphanage" Grace said "I guess it's time for me to go back"

"But Grace, you can't go back there" Jack said

"But I have to go back before everyone in the orphanage finds out that I'm missing" Grace said "and I have my best friend over there and Martha who is the Miss Fickle's assistant and she's nothing like her"

As Grace was about to leave, she looks at Jack and Sally who were sad to see Grace go, she ran to them, they kneel down to her level and they hugged

Sally gave her a kiss on the head, they let go, Grace went back into the light and the light disappeared

She went back into her room, as the light disappeared, Grace realized it was morning and then there was a knock at her door

"Come in" Grace said

The door was open and it was Lilly

"Oh good you're up, come on breakfast is ready" Lilly said

"Okay I'm coming" Grace said and they went off
