Chapter 3

"A CINDERELLA STORY DEFINATELY" HAZEL FINALISED AS HER AND JASPER MADE THEIR WAY OUTSIDE OF THEIR LAST class of the day. It had been stressful but Hazel can't confidently say she didn't fall asleep once.. or was it twice
"I love the one starring Hilary duff the most but the other ones are also really good. I watch it at least once a week"

"Cinderella?" He questioned and she nodded pretending to be offended by the question. What? She was a sucker for that type of romance

"Go on. What's your favourite movie? The three amigos? Wild Wild West?" Jasper scoffed though still smiled

"It's not actually" he said. She looked away from him noticing the soundless hallways and she saw everyone staring at her and Jasper. She grew uncomfortable under their gazes which Jasper caught onto. He knew he couldn't change her emotions so he opted to placing a hand on the small of her back

"Come on, let's go outside" she nodded and allowed him to lead them away to where they were away from everyone else
"No one's used to my family hanging out with others, I'm sorry if it made you uncomfortable"

"It's not your fault" she brushed off
"I mean, why would you want to speak to those that always have something to say about you" he nodded stiffly, knowing she understood and he looked across the parking lot at his family who was watching them both too. She turned to see them and she held up her hand and waved at them

She had only met Emmett and Rosalie ( plus Edward but he wasn't there ) but the other 2 she knew to be Alice and Michael still waved back nonetheless. Bella came into her line of sight as she started walking to her truck

"I'll see you tomorrow Jasper" he nodded in return and she smiled before running over behind Bella. Once she got there she jumped in front of the awkward girl who jumped scared though laughed

"Gosh Hazel. Do you run everywhere?" She shrugged with a smile

"Not everywhere" they both got in the truck and Bella rolled her eyes before driving off

13 year old Hazel and her parents Emily and Daniel were sitting at their dinner table eating something Emily had cooked earlier on that day.

"Mama" Hazel smiled looking up excitedly
"Can we have ice cream after dinner?" she put on her best pouty face and Daniel followed copying his daughter. Emily looked to her 2 favourite people and sighed in defeat

"Fine. But only if you help your father with the dishes after" she nodded happily and continued to eat her food

It had only been a few minutes from then when there was a knock on the door. The parents looked to each other in confusion and shock

"Hazel" her mom said. She looked over to the woman she idolised
"You need to follow my instructions carefully, do you hear me?" Hazel nodded
"Go to your room and hide in the closet. No matter what happens you don't leave"
